Notes for a New Age is my report from the front lines of a little explored period of cultural history that influences the way we live today. On one level, the book chronicles a certain period of my life when I did things like eat brown rice every day, attended sweat lodges, and hobnobbed with the high priests and priestess of the movement, such as Jean Houston, Ram Dass and Michio Kushi. On another level, it presents a birds’ eye of an insufficiently explored period of American and arguably world history that influences the way we live today.
